Each person's life story is unique.
I hope to help you explore the chapters of your life story that you would like to understand better and improve. The first step is recognizing that you want to make changes and then having the courage to do so. These subtle changes can enhance your day to day life today. I work collaboratively with you or your child to help explore what can be done to make changes and relieve some of the stressors. As a fully bilingual (Spanish/English) therapist working with both the Latinex and the Orthodox Jewish population, I understand the intersection of cultural and religious identitty and mental health in all populations.
I provide psychotherapy and assessment services. I treat adults, adolescents, and children struggling with anxiety and depression. Many young adults come to me for help dealing with self esteem and relationship issues. I work with individuals, couples, and groups, and have specialties in OCD, trichotillomania, divorce, TBI, dementia, and multicultural issues.
My professional experiences over the last 30 years in hospitals, schools, universities, clinics, and private practice allow me to help my patients most effectively. The healing potential of the psychotherapeutic relationship is very powerful, and I care deeply about each individual that I treat.
